Birthday/Memorial Day Weekend Update!!

Friday:Got out of work early...3pm...then headed to my hometown for some festivities!! I went for a quick walk around town then headed home for some yummy fish and fries takeout with the parents. Then I got ready for a night out with some friends. The BF and I went to the first bar, ordered drinks and listened to the band play waiting for my friends to show up. We went to another bar after that and enjoyed the music and on my part too many drinks for me. I am not a heavy drinker and literally only had 4 sex on the beach drinks but that was far too much for me to handle so when the room started to spin it was time to go home. The BF and I headed to his parents house and I ended up getting sick that night and sleeping on the couch in a little ball.
Saturday: Happy 24th Birthday to me!! My wonderful bf gave me two of the cutest cards Saturday Morning and his dad picked me up a gerber daisy plant with a happy birthday balloon. After for laying low for the remainder of the morning, BF's dad made me scrambled eggs and toast and I got ready for the day. We headed to the movies to see Night at the Museum 2. It was very funny and even better then the first!! Amy Addams was fabulous as Amelia Earhart! Then we headed to my house to relax for the rest of the night...we ordered pizza and wings and just layed around and watched tv the rest of the night!! It was a fabulous night!!
Sunday: Headed to my sister's house for a delicious bday cookout and got some more bday gifts! My sister got me a really pretty green scarf, pink elbow length shirt and pretty decoration with a quote on it. My grandparents got me a 5 piece kitchen/baking set, recipe box to put my grandma's recipes she had written in, and my other grandma got me a cookbook. I guess everyone wants to see me stark cooking and baking lol!! We enjoyed delicious burgers,hotdogs, taco dip yummm and chocolate cake and neopolitan ice cream!! After the cookout my sis and bro in law and the bf and I headed to the movies to see Angels and Demons! I really enjoyed it, even better then the davinci code!! Definitly would recommend both movies I saw this weekend!!
Monday: I went for a walk with my mom and enjoyed the sun on my parents deck reading my book. Then packed up all my clothes and presents and yummy leftover food and headed back to my apt. After putting everything away and relaxing for a little bit, BF and I headed to visit his mom at the rehab facility she had been staying at. She had her hip replaced last week and it staying there for physical therapy. She was doing great and walking quite well! We ordered take out from Applebees and visited for a while! Then we headed back to the apt to watch Jon and Kate +8 new season premiere. I dont have a verdict yet on whos to blame...I think both contributed to this debacle of a show. I love the kids, they are adorable as always but its like Kate has done a total 180 but we will see. I hope for the best!

Hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend!! Quite tired being back at work but atleast its only a half day lol Lovely dentist and hair appt tonight!! Pics to come from the weekend..I didnt take too many!
