Sunday night-I took a cold shower and applied lots of aloe and felt ok to sleep.
Monday-sore during work but bearable...after work went to buffalo wild wings with BF and had yummy grilled chicken buffalitos then came home and the pain had increased particularly on my stomach and the creases of my arm. I took another cold shower and applied aloe vera lotion but it was still excrutiating. Decided to put cold compresses on stomach chest and arms. Couldn't lay on my side to sleep and was in excrutiating pain.
Today-Took another cold shower aka the most painful shower of my life literally sobbing the pain hurt soo bad! (side note-i have a very small tolerance for pain but if you saw these sunburns you would understand) I called into work, just got done having cold compresses on for an hour.

Kim-Although my sunburn isnt as visible as yours was...I think I definitly have you beat!!
If any of you have any known remedies or help that may reduce the pain and redness please let me know. For the rest of the day I will be laying low and trying to heal as best as I can:(
oh no! Sunburn is no fun! Hope you're feeling better soon =)
ReplyDeleteouch ouch ouch!! Last summer I laid out by the pool for 45 min before my graduation to try to get a tan... and i got BURNED. So a week later I was peeling all over the place at graduation haha
ReplyDeleteI hope you start to feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteI use vinegar for sunburns. I don't know why or remember who told me, but it actually works!
Ouch! That sounds awful (and very painful)! I hope you feel better soon. Not sure of any remedies.
ReplyDeleteJust saw you were following my blog! Yours is too cute! I left you something on my blog.
ReplyDeletep.s try vinegar or solarcane for the sun burn
Oh my goodness, I can only imagine how painful that must be!! I would definitely keep up the aloe and maybe lay an ice pack or two on the severe places. Hopefully it will turn into a beautiful tan! I'll keep my fingers crossed for no excessive peeling! :o)
ReplyDeletetake vitamin C pills! and drink a lot of OJ. I swear it helps. thanks for following me! i will be now following you as well
