So I have been engaged for a little over three weeks and I can check off a few important items:
-booked reception place
-booked dj
-booked photographer and videographer
I think that these are the most important aspects to book!
I will be going dress shopping in a couple weeks.
The next thing I want to look into is limo and then in October probably caterer and florist.
Seeing Fiance leaves Nov 6 and only is coming back for a few days at Thanksgiving and Christmas and then maybe another time before he comes like 1 week before the wedding, I want to do as much as possible with him for the wedding.
I am thinking about registering at Target, Macys and possibly Pottery Barn.
If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to let me know!!
Kelly Clarkson and Gavin Degraw were amazing!!! Once my sister sends me the pics, I will put them up!
No big plans this weekend, cleaning the apt, relaxing and possibly a visit with my friend from home!
Wow you are way better off them I was when I was only 3 week engaged. That's awesome!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your engagement! It sounds like you've got a really good handle on everything!
ReplyDeleteP.S That is so cool that you got to see Kelly Clarkson :)
you are so ahead of the game - trust me :) and i'm glad you enjoyed gavin - he's one of my favorites to see in concert! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so on top of it! Good job!! And I am still jealous you got to go to that concert! Cant wait to see the pictures :)
ReplyDeleteSara!! Congrats on the engagement to JimBobPow! Thanks for checking out my travel blog, I'll have to include some Molly-Jo Fan Club postings very soon. Good luck planning the wedding, I'll be sure to check to see how everything goes!

target is awesome :) you sure are on top of the planning game
ReplyDeleteHeads up with Target. Someone warned us that you can only return 3 items per year at Target, even if you have a registry. I'm pretty sure the person that told us this used them in 2005 for a wedding registry, but I would definitely check into it first! We returned/exchanged like 20 things from Bed Bath & Beyond, and without their awesome return policy, we'd be stuck with 20 sets of plates.
