So yesterday at work I wrote up my final paper for my grad classes. The 9 weeks have flown by! It is due on Sunday but I always have my older sis look at it to make sure the citing and grammar is correct, this paper is 10% of my grade so I want it to be perfect! Anyways, now that I am done with classes for the next three months, I dont start the spring semester until January 28 and it ends March 28, I have alot more free time. At work, my workload isnt too bad so I can probably start blogging more and planning more of the wedding that is a short 8 months away!
It is quite rainy here in Central NY and I wish I was snuggled in my apt watching a movie with my fiancee! The next week will be quite a busy week seeing my fiancee moves to Texas in 9 days! We have a couple dinners to attend with family and friends as well as start the process of packing up all his stuff.
Anyways, hope this Wednesday is going well for everyone in blog world! Nothing else new to report, just trying to stay strong during this last week with my love! Hopefully he will be coming home for Thanksgiving but its not definite! I am already planning to go see him in April possible Easter for a couple days if Im even allowed with the base rules and such. Lots more to come on this lovely subject.
To all the military spouses out there, any words of encouragement or advice would be greatly appreciated. Although he is not going to war or another country, he will be 1700 miles away for the next 8 months so anything that you could offer would be amazing!
I'm apart from my bf for 8 more months...we can count down together!
ReplyDeleteI'm doing the distance right now too. Some days are harder than others. You guys have to have good communication. It's key!
ReplyDeleteStay strong! You can do it! :) Have a great week together!
ReplyDeleteHi Sass. You can totally do this. I think it's a great time to go back to snail mail and look forward to sending and receiving mail and packages, yourself. I use to live for the mailman every day. . .but then again, I couldn't communicate via phone or email with the ex when he was in the war zones. So you can totally do this. I'm always here for you. Pretty soon you'll be living with him and a Texan yourself and then I'll be sad and missing YOU!
ReplyDeleteLife is, indeed, an adventure! I did the "long-distance" thing for more than a year and I'm convinced they work ... especially since I married the man! Best of luck to you!
ReplyDeleteI found your blog through a friend and I couldn't help but following your blog because it's SUPER cute! Very romantic, and I can relate!

As a military wife I find that if hubby and I have to be separated for a long period of time, the best thing to do is to stay busy busy busy. The time flies by when you're super busy.
