Birthday Week!

Thank you for the advice on the Kindle as well as the Birthday Wishes! 26 yikes, wonder what adventures this year will bring. My 25th year I got married, moved from NY to Texas and graduated with my masters!
Birthday week started off on Sunday!

Sunday: Hubby and I went to breakfast at IHOP and then went and picked up my Kindle! I chose the 3G and found a couple books for 99 cents! Later that day, a good friend of mine invited us to her house for a bbq with her hubby and she made me a red velvet cake with 26 candles on top! Soo sweet!

Monday: My day of birth! I got a sweet card from my hubby quite early before he headed to work, then went to Chillis for lunch then Walmart to look around with my friend! Then we headed home to watch a movie and then hubby came home later and we went to Applebees for dinner (fyi-We are stationed in the middle of nowhere with slim to none restaurant choices)  and then to Dairy Queen for dessert! I recieved a wonderful gift card to Marshalls from my MIL in the mail and a JCpenny gift card and cute magnet from my grandparents in the mail today!






















Tuesday: Went with some lovely ladies to get a pedicure (a gift from my friend) and then to lunch! When I got home I had a present waiting from my parents, the beautiful mother of pearl watch that I had posted about earlier! I also recieved a cute card and lovely smelling candle from another friend!


Wednesday: I received a dark brown dresser from my friend who was looking to get rid of some furniture she no longer needed! It is just what we were looking for for our bedroom and now all we need is a tv to put on it! Most of the day I read my kindle outside and enjoyed the sunshine! Later that night the hubby and I went out to eat with another couple which was nice!

Thursday: Today I ran errands with my friend and helped her mulch her yard. I also tried Whataburger for the first time which was pretty good! When I got home, I had another a present waiting for me. My sister and bro in law had gotten me a fabulous gray purse with a teal polka dot and matching waller! Super cute!

This weekend we are heading to San Antonio for a golf tourney my hubby is in. I will be hitting up Target Old Navy Marshalls and the mall as well as going to an outlets mall! What a wonderful end to my birthday week!
