Weekend update and resume work!

Hi Everyone! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! What a nice ending to the weekend, Bin Laden is dead! As a military spouse, it is quite a victory for the military and the USA! Living on base, our security level is a step higher because of this news which means longer times getting on and off base.

This weekend was pretty low key. Friday we headed to dinner at Chillis then relaxed at home the rest of the night! Saturday, the hubby went golfing in the morning/early afternoon and I went to Walmart to pick up some things as well as a cute pair of red airwalk flats (similar to tom shoes) from payless. We headed to dinner at a local restuarant which was good but slow service! The rest of the night was low key and relaxing, I actually finished a book, While my Sister sleeps, which was pretty good, quite intense and kept me wanting to know what happened next! Sunday we had lunch at a local mexican restaurant with friends, I had the mahi mahi fish tacos which were delicious! Then I went grocery shopping and relaxed the rest of the day!

This weekend was my dad's 60th birthday! My sis and I got him an Ipod Touch which he was quite surprised about! He loves music and is always making cds so I hope he enjoys his ipod as much as I enjoy mine! I wish I was able to celebrate with the family at a yummy bbq place but will be visiting in a month or two!

Today I went to the family readiness center on base to talk about federal jobs on base and my resume. The person there was very helpful and after our meeting I went to work on my resume! Federal resumes are alot more detailed then civilian resumes! Wish me luck on finding a job on base soon!!

Tonight I plan on starting another book and possibly going for a walk later!
