Book Review!

Yet another book was finished this week! In between my applying and searching for jobs in a terrible job market, I have been reading alot! I finished The Bag Lady Papers by Alexandra Penny. It tells the story of a successful writer, editor, and artist who loses all of her savings after investing with Barry Madoff. I thought it was interesting to read how she acquired her fortune and made herself successful but I felt that it was a tad bit self loathing and whiny and definitely not the most uplifting book. Not sure if I would recommend this book unless you were interested in reading about a rags to riches to rags to mediocre riches story.
