Low key Labor Day

Not to much occurred this labor day weekend holiday. I finished my book The Lake of Dreams by Kim Edwards which was rather slow at first but once I got more into it I really enjoyed it especially because it took place in Upstate NY and some of the places referenced I had been to or heard of! I would recommend it if you enjoy a story about digging into your family's past and finding unknown information that helps make you a better person!

Today I went shopping with a friend but I didn't get anything exciting a Brita water bottle and red bunt pan, which I look forward to making my mom's yummy and quite famous pumpkin chocolate chip cake in! I ordered the cute straight leg denim jeans from AE that are in the last post thanks to the wonderful discount of 40% off plus free shipping! Looking forward to getting some items in the mail!

Hope all those teachers heading back to school after the labor day weekend are refreshed and ready to go or happy that its a short week! Hopefully the temps will cool down her so I can start dressing in cute fall clothes like my friends and family in NY!
