I know I know...I'm a book worm reading two books within 4 days! I just finished The Postmistress by Sarah Blake.
Starting this book, I thought it would be about a postmaster in the 1940s during war. But the more I read, this book was about 3 strong women during war time struggling to endure and figure out their story and truth of what was going on around them whether it be at the post office, in London during war time, or at home waiting to hear from their husband. I was intrigued by this book and thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely recommend this book to those who like war stories, female heroines and tragic love stories.
