I had read the book by Allison Pearson a couple months ago and enjoyed it. The book took place in London while the movie took place in Boston. I thought the movie portrayed the book pretty well and I am a fan of Sarah Jessica Parker and Greg Kinnear. I thought it was pretty funny but also portrayed the struggles of being a working mom which the book pushed at. I would recommend this movie to anyone looking for a light fun movie, not expecting too much plot, action, or suspense.
Sadly, I'd still like to see this! I think it'd be an interesting movie to watch, despite its lack of plot.
