Stop and Stare-The Big Year

This past Wednesday, the hubby and I decided to rent a movie because our favorites, Modern Family and Revenge were reruns. We ended up renting The Big Year.

I had seen previews for this movie, with Steve Martin, Owen Wilson and Jack Black. I thought it was about three guys in different times of their life going on a trip together. Oh boy, was I wrong! This movie was about birders. Yes, birders. The Big Year is the decision a birder will make to spot as many birds in a year all over the country and become the best birder! The more I watched and got into it, it wasn't awful but I was quite surpised about the actual plot. This is a fair warning in case, like me, you thought this movie was not about birds!
