Today the hubby didn't have anything scheduled for training so it was like a three day weekend for him! We started off the weekend early by renting The Descendants last night while chowing down on yummy crock pot pulled pork and waffle fries and green beans. I enjoyed the movies ups and downs and the acting of George Clooney and the older daughter Alex, who is from Secret Life of an American Teen, total guilty pleasure hehe If you haven't seen it, I would recommend it! Plus, it really made me want to go to Hawaii! I haven't had a beach vacation in 6 years so I am excited for the fall when we will hopefully be going to the beach (wherever that may be, recommendations welcome!)
Today we headed to Ihop for some yummy pancakes for brunch then caught an early movie in the theatres, 21 Jump Street! I haven't seen the TV show but I thought the movie was pretty funny mixed with dirty boy humor a bit! It kind of made me feel old because my high school experience seemed so much more calmer than those pictured in the movie and what I have seen lately! If you are looking for a laugh or liked the original 21 Jump street, I would say check it out for some surprises!
