After the photography session, the mentoring session started. I learned some advice about growing my blog with guest posts, free advertising to increase blog traffic and working with affiliate programs like Mod Cloth.
The thrifting session was next which was fabulous! We went to a store called Savers, which I had never been to, and I found two cute dresses and a red and white stripe shirt. I could have spent hours in Savers searching through the racks and looking for cute outfits for my handsome nephew! Thanks to Dr Scholls and the TXSC, we received fabulous on the go flats!
After the thrifting adventure, we headed to the 2nd street district to shop around the boutiques. In Plain Ivey Jane, I bought a cute mini wallet that was sewed and created right in front of me! The blue and red polka dot fabric is fabulous!
After grabbing a delicious sandwich from Which Which, we changed for the Posh Party and headed to the party! At the party, there were many sponsors set up with fun giveaways and contests as well as a showcase of their products!
*I won the beautiful Amethyst earrings in a scavenger hunt from Wild Gems!
*When I stopped at the Stella & Dot booth, I got a free gift, a super cute silver and black bracelet!
*When looking at the Blowfish shoes, I was given a cute mirror compact as a gift and a chance to win a pair of shoes if I tweeted a picture of sparkles, color blocking, nail art and tribal print.
*On Friday night I met a fabulous lady, Jen from Purseandclutch, who sells amazing purses and clutches in beautiful colors and patterns! I couldn't resist the navy chevron print of this clutch so I bought it! And it ended up matching the complimentary coasters Jen gave out:)
*Deanne from Buyosphere gave out some amazing chapstick for stopping by her table to say hello!
~After a long day on my feet, I had on cute nude heels but decided to change into my fit flats to enjoy the night better!~
