It's been almost 6 years since my last blog post, when I introduced my daughter who had just been born. The newness of motherhood, I remember, overwhelmed me at the time. I had left my job two months before her birth and when she was born I just couldn't get enough of her and didn't make the time or have the energy (hello sleep deprivation) to put into updating my blog. I still was reading blogs when I had the chance and enjoyed following along on Instagram and Facebook as well.
A lot has happened since 2013. We moved to Missouri in 2015 and are currently stationed here in the Midwest. My husband is a pilot in the Air Force and this is our second duty station in the almost ten years he's been active duty. In April of 2016, we welcomed a son and my world got turned upside down. I had a 2.5 year old and a newborn and a husband with a busy and demanding career. Almost three years since my son was born, I am finally coming up for air ( a little).
I started a word press blog in the fall of 2017 but wasn't consistent with it. It was about simple living and my journey toward a more minimalist life. I unfortunately can't remember the user name or password for it ha ha so I would like to come back to my original blog I started in 2008 and continue sharing parts of my life. Now that I am a mother of two kids, I have new interests and adventures I'd love to share with you.
I look forward to continuing our adventure we started over 10 years ago here and connecting with those followers who are still there and meeting new people along the way!
