Weekend Recap!

Friday: Left work at 1:30 headed towards home but a little farther east to show my grandparents my ring before I had to drop it off to get resized. My grandparents gave me and the fiancee the sweetest card and beautiful willow tree "Promise" figurine...I LOVE WILLOW TREE!! Then I dropped off my ring, it was a 6 and 3/4 and I am having it sized down to a 4 1/2...big difference! It should be ready to pick up on Friday. In the mean time lol I am wearing a costume ring from my mom to get used to wearing a ring lol I say its my loaner for the week. Friday night, my mom and I went to a dinner at this cute little diner and I got a cheeseburger and fries and ice cream. Let me just tell you...I ate far too much food this weekend!! Then fiancee came over to the parents house, I looked at Modern Bride magazine(my mom got it for me), then we hit the sack!

Saturday: Pancakes were made by my dad, delicious! Then fiancee started his two-day golf tournament and I met up with one of my hometown friends for lunch and a movie and to catch up. She is also recently engaged and she gave me a tour of her new home. We got some yummy Taco Bell for lunch then went to the movies to see Julia and Julia!! Loved it! Such a cute movie and went along with the book very well!! Then I met up with fiancee after his golf tourney and headed to his parents house to see some family from out of town. We visited at their lake house they are renting then headed to a local restaurant for dinner. After dinner we grabbed some ice cream, I picked up subs for Sunday's adventure and visited with my hometown friend and fiancee and played Wii. It is soo much fun! Definitly want to get one soon!

Sunday: Got up nice and early, grabbed the subs and doritos I got yesterday and met my sister and bro in law for a fun filled day at a local water park. It was quite cloudy and not the warmest of weather but we still hada blast. The water rides have heated water so that was nice! After riding the rides, we changed and walked around the park for a little bit and in the park's museum there was an article written by sister back in her reporter days. She was quite excited!! On the way home, we stopped at a cute soda shop for yes, more ice cream!! Then I headed west, to put my clothes away and try to relax from the jam packed weekend!!

Monday morning...quite sore from the water rides and cold temps yesterday...tired and need sleep!!

On to exciting news...We set a date!! June 19 2010 at 230p I will be a married lady. No other details yet just reserved the church and talked to the priest!
