-Saturday I met two of my bridesmaids and they ordered their dresses so now all of my bridesmaids dresses are ordered woohoo! Saturday afternoon I browsed around Barnes and Nobles and found a book for my grad school HR class. I have a book report in March and needed to find a book on HR or related topic and I bought the book Wired to care, it deals with using empathy in the workplace to create a positive and successful working environment!
-Sunday I had to do payroll seeing I had MLK day off. Then I hit the gym and went home to do some grad school work ahead of time. Yeah I am a nerd! But my syllabus just seems so overwhelming and the more I get done the better I feel and more relieved I am. Then I watched the Golden Globes to get some hair style ideas. I really liked Collin Farrel's girlfriends hair for a possible wedding hairdo.

Let me know what you think?
-Monday I headed to my parents house to do some necessary laundry and made an appt with a local florist. We ended up booking with them and got a really good deal! My bouqet will be 8 white roses and two white hydrangeas and the bridesmaids will have blue hydrangas with white daisies!! Very simple but elegant! Then I had a nice family dinner with my sis and bro in law and the parents!
Today I started my new work day 9am-5pm, we will see how it goes. Not too happy about it but I know I only have a couple months left here! I talked to my union rep and all that she said was she put in a grievance to the city and that we could get 15 days to work our normal hours before changing but really its not necessary. I dont have any real schedule conflicts so why prolong the inevitable?
The joys of being a govt employee!
lame about your schedule still not working out! But I really like that hair style, it is cute!
