Wednesday I worked at the thrift shop and my sis and bro in law stopped in and found some cute stuff for her, him and their little one to be! After work, we ate lunch, and played wii bowling! Always a fun time! Then we cooked yummy pulled pork in the crock pot, first time for me using the crock pot! Quite easy to make! I also made some homemade mashed potatoes to go along with it. We had a delicious yellow cake with chocolate frosting for dessert! After the food overload, we relaxed by watching American Idol and I used to be fat!
Thursday we headed to the local library off base to show my sister, the librarian and then to a couple cute shops downtown. One shop had really nice wood furniture, decorations and candles and the other shop was a children's consignment store called bambinos! We hit up Sonic for lunch seeing the bro in law had never had it and there is no sonic in NY! I had some yummy tots and popcorn chicken! After lunch we played some monopoly which my bro in law dominated in and then watched the classic Curly Sue! We played some more Wii bowling and then grabbed Subway for din din! Hubby got home a little bit early and we watched American Idol, The office and Jersey Shore!
Friday/Today I worked at the thrift shop and my sis tagged along while my bro in law got a ride in the simulator! I found a nice photo album and my sis found another cute top! After work, we came back and chateed and relaxed until they left later in the afternoon! It was such a wonderful week visiting and chatting and laughing and showing them my new home! I miss them already!
No plans this weekend just reading ahead for next weeks classes and db posts! Oh how I love visitors, who is coming next?
