Podcasts I am loving

A couple years ago I started listening to podcasts. Mainly motherhood related as I was in the trenches of motherhood with a one year old and 4 year old. They made me feel less lonely and gave me tips on how to handle the anxiety and stress of motherhood when you live away from family. Back then, I had to sneak away to listen to them either on the way to the grocery store on a saturday or on the occasional walk around the neighborhood.

Now that my head is above water a bit and I am feeling more secure as a mother, I've decided to start listening to more podcasts that peak my interest.

My top 5 podcasts that I listen to on the regular are:

1. The Lazy Genius podcast-Kendra Adachi came out with a book this summer called The Lazy Genius Way and after reading and taking notes and just thoroughly enjoying it, I binged her podcast of the past couple years and I would definitely recommend. She brings humor and realness to motherhood, home managing, decorating, eating and community.

2. Simple Families- Denaye Barahona talks about minimalism and motherhood as well as gives great and practical parenting advice. She also wrote a book a couple years too called Simple Happy Parenting.

3. Life on Purpose podcast-Erika Layne's podcast is a breath of fresh air for introverted moms. She creates a calming environment in her podcast and gives great tips on living simple and taking care of yourself. She also wrote a book a couple years ago called The minimalist way

4.  Minimalist Moms podcast-this was my first podcast I started listening to in 2017 and every week I look forward to her interviews with fellow simple living and minimalist minded moms and authors. She gives great tips as well as encouraging content on how living with less is so much more.

5. Simple on Purpose podcast- I just stumbled upon this podcast last week and have been devouring her simple saturday episodes. She posts 10-15 minute episodes every week with real life examples on how she is living simply in all aspects of her life with capsule wardrobes, decluttering and motherhood. She is a Canadian mom and also wrote a book which I haven't read yet called Homemaker on Purpose.

I hope you check out these podcasts if you are looking for a new podcast and enjoy the topic of simple living and minimalism with a little motherhood thrown in there. I would love to know what you are listening to!
